The Truman School’s alumni and friends share a commitment to advancing the cause of governance through thoughtful, concerted scholarship and practice. They also know graduate education in public affairs prepares leaders to take on increasingly complex public problems.

The Truman School provides a close-knit community of learners with ample opportunities for support and encouragement from faculty, staff and peers. When you are involved as an alumnus or a friend of the school, you are making this community stronger.

Share your experiences with students

The Truman School holds a variety of professional development seminars that invite professionals to come share their experiences with students. Contact the Office of Academic Programs at truman@missouri.edu for more information.

Post an internship or job opportunity

Alumni and friends can help current students and benefit their own organizations by posting internships and job opportunities with the Truman School. After graduation, Truman School students seek jobs in government, nonprofit agencies, and other public service organizations. MPA students may specialize in Regional Development, Nonprofit Management, Organizational and Community Change, Public Management, and Public Policy. Send postings to the Office of Academic Programs at truman@missouri.edu.

Give to the Truman School

Gifts from alumni and friends make a difference. They support scholarships, academic enrichments, or other purposes of the donor. For more information about giving, contact Dr. Barton Wechsler, Dean of the Truman School at wechslerb@missouri.edu or Andrew Grabau, Director of Development, at grabauan@missouri.edu.
