TSPA Grant Writing Program

The Grant Writing Volunteer Program pairs graduate students as unpaid volunteers with local nonprofit organizations who have expressed a need for grant writing, research, or other grant-related help. The program is housed at the Truman School of Public Affairs (TSPA).

The main goals of the program are:

• To provide graduate students with professional development opportunities for grant writing and give them ways to connect their graduate programs with local community needs.
• To provide local nonprofits with targeted volunteer hours in grant research, writing, editing and other related activities.
• To develop mutually beneficial working relationships between the Truman School and the Columbia community.
