Truman School Seeks Nominees for Inaugural Carnahan Student FellowshipAt an event in February, the Truman School of Public Affairs and former U.S. Senator Jean Carnahan and family announced the Mel Carnahan Award and Graduate Fellowship for Public Service. Today, the Truman School is accepting nominations for the inaugural Mel Carnahan Graduate Fellowship. The Carnahan Graduate Fellowship recognizes a first-year MPA student who has made contributions to public service. These contributions may have been prior to or since coming to the Truman School. A committee of faculty and students will award the fellowship after a competitive process. The committee will accept nominations for the award from students, faculty, and community members. Nominators should provide a description of the nominee’s public service activities and describe how those have contributed to the public good. More information about the Carnahan Award and Graduate Fellowship for Public Service is available at http://truman.missouri.edu/carnahan. UPDATE: Nominations for this year's Graduate Fellowship are now closed. |
Annual ReportThe Truman School's Annual Report provides updates on the scholarly output of the school and much more. |
