Truman School in the News

Several Truman School people and a Rural Policy Research Institute report all made news in April:

An April 2 editorial in the Kansas City Star discussed ideas for reforming the Missouri General Assembly. It included commentary from Dr. David Valentine, Associate Director for Public Service at the Truman School.

On April 9, the Ashland (Wisconsin) Current published a summary of new research by the Rural Policy Research Institute (RUPRI) on transportation issues facing rural communities.

On April 12, the People's Tribune announced that TSPA student worker Andrea Shaw received the Girl Scout Gold Award, the most prestigious award in Girl Scouting.

Finally, on April 14, Truman School Faculty Fellow Dr. Eric Greitens appeared on NBC's TODAY show to discuss his new book, The Heart and the Fist.
