Dr. Lilliard E. Richardson
Ph.D. in Government, Dr. Richardson’s teaching and research interests primarily focus on public policy, state legislatures, and research methods. Richardson has published extensively in the field’s top journals, including the American Journal of Public Health, Journal of Policy Analysis and Management, Policy Studies Journal, Legislative Studies Quarterly, Social Science Quarterly, Political Research Quarterly, State Politics and Policy Quarterly, Policy Studies Review, Evaluation Review, Accident Analysis and Prevention, and State and Local Government Review, among others. He is a co-author (with William Lyons and John Scheb) of American Government: Politics and Political Culture, published in 1995. Richardson has contributed chapters to several books, including What is it about Government that Americans Dislike?, Engaging the Public, The Presidency Reconsidered, and Tennessee Government and Politics. He has provided professional testimony on public policy issues to state legislatures, and he served as a Legislative Assistant in the Missouri House of Representatives. |
