"As Chief of Staff in the Missouri State Auditor's Office, the Truman School's MPA program provided me with an academic knowledge and understanding of public affairs that I use on a daily basis. Administrative issues involving budgeting, taxation, and human resources, as well as public policy issues related to creating and analyzing proposed policies, rules, and legislation, require a thorough understanding of public affairs gained through the Truman School. The MPA program provides a unique perspective that is invaluable when problem-solving in the public sector."
