Successful nonprofit organizations today depend on their ability to compete effectively for resources, understand community needs and priorities and deliver appropriate services within budget.

This graduate certificate provides students with the managerial, fiduciary and analytical tools necessary to lead complex nonprofit organizations and help them serve the interests of their community.

  • PUB_AF 8520: Human Resource Management and Development in the Public and Nonprofit Sector
  • PUB_AF 8710: The Nonprofit & Voluntary Sector
  • PUB_AF 8720: Budgeting and Financial Management in the Public and Nonprofit Sector
  • The student will select an additional elective course (from the Truman School or another MU graduate unit) in consultation with the certificate coordinator.
