Evaluation Training Workshop for 2006 Grantees

This workshop is designed to lead grantees through efficient data gathering and management strategies that will accurately reflect the outcomes of their work. The workshop will include both content presentation and an example exercise component. We will also allow for one-on-one consultation for each grantee to discuss their evaluation plan with an evaluation team member.

We believe that this workshop will enable grantees to improve their data collection and, in so doing, improve their ability to demonstrate positive results. In reviewing many projects’ interim reports and documentation, some of the projects who are not conducting pre- and post- assessments and nearly all of the projects that have conducted pre- and post- assessments are not capturing the full impact on participants’ outcomes. We want to help you document your projects’ impact on your participants and communities with this training opportunity so that you can continue to use your results in attracting new participants, partners and funders.
