Senior Fellow Eric Greitens to receive George A. Smith Memorial Award

Smith Award presented by the National Conference on Citizenship for his leadership in the U.S. Navy, as well as his commitment to serving war-affected children and cultivating leadership among veterans. The National Conference on Citizenship is an annual event that focuses on the state of civic engagement in America, and is designed to bring together civic leaders, educators. CEOs, and representatives from each of the three branches of government to address issues related to our nation’s civic health.
This is the inaugural year for the George A. Smith Memorial Award, which "recognizes an exemplary veteran who defines their citizenship through service to our country, both in uniform and beyond."
