You can earn your BA and MPA in five years.

The Truman School offers a 4+1 program that allows undergraduate students in our Political Science major and in our Public Administration and Policy major to earn their BAs and a Masters in Public Affairs in five years.

Undergraduate students who have completed 90 credit hours with a GPA of 3.0 to begin taking master's level classes in year four of their undergraduate studies.

Because up to 15 graduate-level credit hours can be shared between the BA and MPA, students can obtain both degrees by taking normal course loads.

The MPA is a professional degree combining rigorous coursework and experiential learning opportunities to prepare students for ethical leadership in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors.
