Graduate Certificates

A graduate certificate allows students to gain expertise in a specific area without having to commit to a graduate degree program. Because of this, certificate programs are often an attractive option for recent graduates and experienced professionals.

MU graduate students in any degree program — including Truman School MPA and PhD students — can complete a certificate while pursuing a degree.

The Truman School offers seven graduate certificate programs, each requiring four courses (12 credit hours) of graduate study.
