Weijie Wang

Dr. Wang is an Assistant Professor in the Truman School of Public Affairs. He earned PhD in Policy, Planning and Development (public management track) from the University of Southern California in 2015. His research focuses on performance management and collaborative governance. His research on performance management explores how personnel management policies affect organizational-level outcomes such as employee turnover and organizational performance. His research on collaborative governance explores how to realize collaborative advantages and how power dynamics in collaboration affect network-level outcomes.
Dr. Wang’s research has been published in Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory, Public Management Review, Public Administration, Administration and Society, among others. He received the 2014 Staats Emerging Scholar Award from the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA).
