Grant Writing Program
The Grant Writing Program is a student-run program that partners students with nonprofit organizations in need of grant writing assistance.
Small teams composed of an experienced team leader and several students new to grant writing help with grant research, writing, editing and other related activities. The nonprofit organizations provide direction, information and feedback, and faculty and staff offer support and insight.
The program benefits local nonprofits while giving graduate students relevant professional experience, creating a mutually beneficial relationship between TSPA and the community.
- 47 students participated from the Truman School, the Law School and the School of Public Health.
- 525 total volunteer hours were contributed.
- 16 nonprofit organizations participated.
