Biography

Dr. Stegmaier is an assistant professor in the Truman School of Public Affairs.  She teaches in research methods, international governance, and policy processes.   Her research concentrates on elections, voting behavior, and party support in the U.S. and abroad, with an emphasis on Central Europe. Her articles have appeared in a variety of academic journals including Public Choice, Electoral Studies, Political Behavior, Party Politics, East European Politics and Societies, and the Annual Review of Political Science. She has also served as an international election observer with the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Macedonia (2014), Kyrgyzstan (2015), and Belarus (2016).
