Trang Pham earned her master’s degree in Development Studies from the University of Sussex, the UK, and bachelor’s degree in English from Hanoi University of Technology, Vietnam. Her research is in the intersection of diversity, immigration and higher education. In her dissertation, she explores the revelation of assimilation and the development of scholastic identity among international instructors at U.S. universities using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
Trang is experienced with data construction using web scrapping and survey. She is also interested in using Narrative Inquiry as an effective qualitative methodology to learn through personal stories. Before graduate school, Trang worked in International Development Consulting and Microfinance. She received a Chevening Scholarship from the UK Government in 2013.
