The Institute of Public Policy is proud to be a member of the Consortium of University Public Service Organizations (CUPSO) which supports university-based public services institutes in their efforts to assist state and local governments on contemporary issues and challenges. Recently, CUPSO held their annual conference in Newark, Delaware at the University of Delaware. Presenters shared valuable information regarding strategic communication, presenting data in a meaningful way, fostering student engagement, and an overview of the University of Delaware’s Engagement Initiative. A poster showcase was held to feature the work of CUPSO members at their universities. Emily Johnson, Associate Director and COO of the Institute, presented a poster highlighting the work the Institute has recently completed with the Women’s Foundation, specifically the Status of Women reports and the Equal Pay Guidelines. The conference provides an excellent opportunity to learn about the work and projects of similar institutes throughout the nation.
