IPP Releases New Issue Brief
IPP is pleased to share a recent issue brief authored by James W. Endersby, professor in the Truman School of Government and Public Affairs. The brief, entitled “The Timing of Missouri Municipal Elections: Advantages and Disadvantages of Merging Municipal and Federal Elections”, discusses the costs, benefits, and consequences of merging on and off-cycle elections. Endersby looks at municipal voter turnout and engagement in partisan and non-partisan elections and potential influences on the ideals of political representation and election outcomes.
