Opportunity for Policy Researchers-Director of the Institute of Public Policy at the Truman School

The Harry S Truman School of Public Affairs at the University of Missouri (MU) is seeking a full-time Director for the Institute of Public Policy (IPP) to oversee rigorous policy research that supports faculty, practitioners, and policymakers in Missouri and nationally.

This position is a full-time, 12-month non-tenure track, ranked faculty position with an administrative appointment. Rank is open. Requirements for the position include an earned Ph.D. in public policy, public administration, economics, political science, or a related field, in conjunction with professional experience in designing, conducting, and evaluating policy research, services, or education programs. We welcome applications from researchers in all policy areas to build on IPP's existing strengths in education and health policy.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with faculty and the broader academic community as well as state and regional stakeholders to perform research that addresses local, state, and national needs. The Director will work with the Truman School director to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for securing additional funding to support Institute programs and initiatives.
