The Truman School of Government and Public Affairs at the University of Missouri ranks 36th among Public Affairs programs in the 2025 U.S. News & World Report rankings, a testament to the programs enduring excellence, by maintaining this level of recognition for over 30 years.  This placement reflects the school's commitment to academic excellence and its role in preparing students for public service careers. “The MPA program is designed to equip students with the skills necessary for effective governance and policymaking,” said MPA Director Kathleen Miller.  Dr. Lael Keiser, Director of the Truman School added, “Our faculty advance knowledge in the field through research, equipping our students with cutting edge insights about public policy and management.” This recognition by U.S. News & World Report highlights the Truman School's dedication to fostering a learning environment that emphasizes both theoretical and practical aspects of public affairs.
