Truman School of Government & Public Affairs Among Nation's Top Public Affairs Programs.

The Harry S Truman School of Government & Public Affairs at the University of Missouri is pleased to announce that it has once again been recognized among the top 50 public affairs programs in the United States by U.S. News & World Report. This continued recognition reflects the school's sustained commitment to academic excellence, practitioner-focused education, and the development of public service leaders.

Maintaining its place as a top location for thirty plus years in the U.S. News rankings is a meaningful benchmark in a competitive field that includes programs from some of the nation's most prominent research universities. For the Truman School, this recognition affirms the quality of its faculty, the rigor of its curriculum, and the breadth of its student community — which spans in-person, online, and professional pathways such as the Service-to-Service partnership with Volker Alliance and We the Veterans.

As the field of public affairs continues to evolve, the Truman School remains committed to equipping the next generation of public servants with the skills, networks, and real-world experience needed to lead with integrity and purpose. We are grateful to our faculty, staff, alumni, and partners whose dedication makes this recognition possible,” said Lael Keiser, Director of the Truman School.
