The Institute of Public Policy's Emily Johnson and Rachel Dicke joined Wendy Doyle, President and CEO of United WE (formerly Women's Foundation), and Celeste Cramer, System Director of Recruitment & Retention of CoxHealth for a virtual press conference unveiling new research on Thursday, November 12th, updating the public on the Status of Women in Missouri. United WE first commissioned the University of Missouri's Institute of Public Policy to determine areas of concern and policy solutions for Missouri's women in 2015 for a baseline study. Findings from the ongoing research show that there are solvable challenges in several dimensions of women's lives that could further economically empower women and their families, including employment and income, education and childcare, health, social and economic status, and leadership and public engagement. The Status of Women in Missouri 2020 full report and Executive Summary can be accessed here.
