Rachel Dicke
Dr. Rachel Dicke is a Senior Research Analyst at the Institute of Public Policy (IPP), Harry S Truman School of Government and Public Affairs at the University of Missouri. She received her BA from Truman State University, MA from Eastern Illinois University, and PhD from the University of Missouri in Political Science. Her areas of focus are early childhood care and education, including evaluation work for Missouri’s Preschool Development Grants and research on child care licensing; economic development, particularly as it intersects with women’s employment, including research on paid leave and occupational licensing; and research concerning kinship caregivers and kinship navigator programs. Her research capacities include survey design and implementation; quantitative data analysis, primarily conducted in Stata; qualitative data collection and analysis, including interview data; and program evaluation.
