Jake Haselswerdt
Jake Haselswerdt (Associate Professor) has been with the Truman School since 2016. His research focuses on the politics of public policy, especially health and social policy, in the United States. These interests encompass several different strands of work spanning the study of institutions and behavior. His work has been published in The American Political Science Review; The Journal of Politics; Policy Studies Journal; Perspectives on Politics; Political Behavior; the Journal of Health Politics, Policy and Law; and other journals.
Prior to joining the Truman School, he was a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Scholar in Health Policy Research at the University of Michigan and an American Political Science Association Congressional Fellow. He earned his Ph.D. at George Washington University.
