Angela M. Hull
Dr. Hull has a Ph.D. in policy studies from the University of Missouri College of Education (2007) and a Master’s of Public Administration from MU’s Truman School of Public Affairs. For nine years, she was Executive Director of the Association for Education Finance and Policy, and has contributed to annual Missouri school finance policy briefs for AEFP’s State of the States and Provinces publication. Prior to becoming a policy and research consultant in 2009, Dr. Hull worked for over a decade in education associations, including state government relations for school boards and then teacher groups. Her independent research work has included school district grant evaluations (Title IID education technology grants and 21st Century Community Learning Centers (afterschool)), and policy research on teacher preparation, certification, compensation and pensions, as well as early childhood systems development. She has been a CLASS - S certified observer as part of an i3 evaluation with the American Institutes for Research, and executive director of Missouri’s Coordinating Board for Early Childhood. She won the inaugural 2020 NASPAA Case Writing competitive grant.
