Elizabeth Knight
Elizabeth Knight is a Senior Research Analyst at the Institute of Public Policy. She completed her BA in English at Grinnell College and holds an MA in Literacy Education and a PhD in Educational Leadership & Policy Analysis from the University of Missouri. She received secondary teaching certification in English and biology from the State of Iowa and has taught in early childhood, elementary, and high school settings. Elizabeth served as a project facilitator for business process changes for the University of Missouri System, as an Education Research Consultant for the Missouri Department of Higher Education and the University of Texas at Austin, and as a graduate assistant at IPP where she assisted with projects related to education policy and program evaluation. In her current role, Elizabeth assists with education projects involving qualitative and quantitative data analysis and visualization, including Missouri’s Annual Performance Reports for Educator Preparation Programs and the Missouri School Climate and Culture Survey. She is experienced using Oracle PeopleSoft, Qualtrics, R programming language, Tableau, and WordPress.
