What makes Truman School of Government and Public Affairs distinguishable:
Partnership with Korean Federal Government: The long-standing partnership has allowed us to prepare students for the highest level of public service for the Republic of Korea. Annually no less than two students join our MPA program. President Truman made a special effort to support South Korea and University of Missouri was part of his plan to help educate the Korean People. That partnership continues with the Truman School today.
Every level of Government: Students who graduate with their MPA degree go into every level of government. Locally, the De'Carlon Seewood, City Manager for the City of Columbia is one of ours. Jamie Birch, Director of Policy for the Governor of Missouri is one of ours. Jared Henderson, Senior Policy Advisor for a U.S Senator is one of ours. Togrul Huseynov, Chief Advisor at the Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan is one our ours too. Our graduates are shaping policy at all levels of government and in all corners of the globe.
